We are looking for a dedicated individual eager to enhance their knowledge and laboratory skills in the field of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology and genomics research. The selected candidate will be part of a high-throughput NGS laboratory that supports sequencing technologies and develops genomic applications to assist the research community.

The role involves:

  • Providing assistance in single-cell molecular profiling and sequencing data generation.
  • Engaging in all phases of sample preparation, processing, library construction, sequencing, and in-process analytical quality control.
  • Utilizing automation tools to streamline workflows.

The candidate will receive comprehensive training on all protocols and workflows, along with supervision until they are proficient in conducting independent work by adhering to established protocols. Furthermore, you will support the advancement of new single-cell and NGS applications for large-scale, high-throughput genomics initiatives.

By leveraging various high-throughput genomic technologies, the candidate will contribute to multidisciplinary projects focused on drug discovery and development.

Qualifications:

  • A B.Sc. degree in Biology or a related field, along with practical research experience in academic or industry settings is preferred. Familiarity with NGS technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong teamwork abilities, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commendable work ethic and a drive to make significant contributions to projects aimed at improving patient therapies and outcomes.
