Wellness Program Manager

About the Role
CVS Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellness Manager to join our Southeast Public & Labor team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with sales and account management teams to provide strategic and technical support in delivering wellness consulting services to our existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement workplace wellbeing solutions to reduce health risks, healthcare costs, and increase employee engagement.
- Lead the development of strategic plans to heighten awareness of factors affecting health and longevity, enabling populations to take responsibility for their health behaviors.
- Support the development, training, and implementation of workplace wellbeing offerings to address retention/turnover, absenteeism due to illness and disability, and return-to-work challenges.
- Serve as a client point of contact for assigned accounts, representing complex or key accounts within the team.
- Provide guidance to team members in resolving escalated client or account issues.
- Support the acquisition of new business by educating distribution partners on Aetna's well-being strategy and purpose.
- Represent CVS Health as a market resource for local sales teams, supporting internal and external speaking engagements.
- Mentor and coach team members, as well as lead onboarding/training of new hires.
Requirements
- 3 or more years' experience leading and guiding development of multi-year workplace well-being and cost savings strategies or relevant experience.
- Highly self-motivated to achieve success in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Publisher.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to seek and maintain wellness-based certifications, such as those provided by NWI, WELCOA, or other health and wellness experts.
- Certified Wellness Program Manager (CWPM) or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including overnight.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of sales or account management experience.
- Florida Health and Life Insurance license.
Education
Bachelor's degree in health education, health promotion, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
