A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SUPPORTIVE LIVING PROGRAM ASSISTANT MANAGER
As the Supportive Living Program Assistant Manager, you will start each shift prepared to assist adults with developmental disabilities in living their best lives as independently as possible. Your mission is to ensure the comfort and safety of each resident. In our residential settings, you will support clients with daily living activities such as medication administration, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and transportation to medical appointments.
You will also play a key role in implementing individualized behavioral plans. Through effective teaching and mentoring, you will help clients acquire new skills and achieve their personal goals. By understanding each individual's preferences and behavioral plans, you will encourage their interests and facilitate community outings and recreational activities. You will be diligent in reporting any health and safety concerns and maintaining accurate documentation.
In addition to direct care responsibilities, the Supportive Living Program Assistant Manager will assist in the operational aspects of the program. This includes collaborating with the Program Manager on staff scheduling, budgeting, communication with healthcare providers and family members, conducting safety drills, and more. Your previous experience as a Direct Support Professional will be invaluable in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass criminal background checks and drug screening
- Clear tuberculosis (TB) screening
- Ability to complete and maintain required training such as CPR/first aid, medication administration, and positive behavioral support
- Basic computer skills
