Position Overview: The Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Analyst will primarily function under the guidance of the local Special Security Office (SSO). This role is crucial for implementing local policies and procedures in alignment with DoD, Director of National Intelligence (DNI), and Air Force directives to manage SCI and collateral program functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document plans, policies, and procedures for SCI protection functions in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain and update the SCI Billet Structure (SCIBS) for the installation and its operating locations.
  • Process and analyze requests for changes to SCIBS, ensuring proper justifications are enforced.
  • Manage Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) records for a significant number of SCI personnel.
  • Assist with inspections and prepare reports with corrective actions as necessary.
  • Respond to requests for SCI eligibility and manage indoctrination processes.
  • Coordinate with the Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) regarding SCI access for foreign nationals.
  • Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Provide ongoing training in all areas of SCI security, including OPSEC and Communications Security (COMSEC).
  • Act as an SCI courier and oversee industrial security procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in SCI Security.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must meet certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 and Information Assurance Manager Level 1.
  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
