Strategic Intelligence Analyst

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Utilize intelligence expertise to facilitate the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities, which include collection, analysis, and targeting, into comprehensive operational planning efforts across the Department of Defense.

+ Support mission areas for Intelligence Planning, including the development of campaign strategies, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning in alignment with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES).

+ Assist with red teaming and conduct feasibility assessments of intelligence operations within the planning framework.

**Qualifications:**

+ Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

+ A high school diploma with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience; an associate's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience; a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or a master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.

+ Proven knowledge of the concepts related to the specific functions outlined in this role.

+ Familiarity with and ability to apply Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense classification guidelines and procedures.

+ Capability to defend analytic judgments with sound reasoning and to adapt these judgments in response to new information or changing conditions.

+ Proficiency in producing timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, and presentations in various formats, including Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

+ Strong understanding of complex analytic methodologies, such as structured analytic techniques, to assess biases, assumptions, and theories, thereby enhancing analytic arguments and reducing uncertainty.

+ Knowledge of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations, including technical sensors/platforms and human intelligence sources relevant to the role.

+ Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the intelligence community to facilitate information sharing, drive collection efforts, and resolve analytic disputes.

+ Competence in guiding the selection, design, and application of analytic methodologies.

+ Skill in using argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives.

**Preferred Skills:**

+ A minimum of 8 years of experience relevant to the position, with at least some experience within the last 2 years.

+ A bachelor's degree in a field related to the position from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
