KEY EXPECTATIONS
  • Enhance the reliability of mechanical assets to achieve production objectives.
  • Strive for zero unexpected equipment failures.
  • Champion safety initiatives and ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Devise creative solutions to maintenance and operational challenges.
  • Maintain product quality and implement enhancements for better reliability and performance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership Role
  • Promote a culture of safety and implement effective maintenance strategies.
  • Assess training requirements for maintenance personnel and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
Operational Processes
  • Quickly address equipment malfunctions to align with production schedules.
  • Support maintenance operations for mechanical assets, including procedure documentation and equipment history management.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, failure analysis, and oversee replacement initiatives.
  • Manage asset data and inventory while collaborating with operations for proactive maintenance efforts.
TEAM STRUCTURE
  • Reports To: Mechanical Reliability Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Experience in the Chemical, Plastics, or Refining sectors is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in equipment troubleshooting and modeling software.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and travel as necessary.
  • Engineering certification and additional training are advantageous.
