Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor/Inspector to join our team at International Staff Consulting. This is a key role that requires a strong background in mechanical integrity and reliability engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a plant-wide fixed equipment inspection program that meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead a team of inspectors and contractors to ensure compliance with inspection plans and schedules.
  • Provide technical support for capital project inspection needs and review T/A inspection plans and recommendations.
  • Develop and revise inspection procedures to keep up with industry advancements and new code requirements.
  • Provide input/oversight to Fitness for Service program to determine the remaining life and need for repair, replace or re-inspection of fixed equipment.
  • Support expense and capital project development related to fixed equipment.
  • Lead incident investigations for incidents involving equipment failures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of inspection or mechanical integrity work background.
  • API 510/570/653 and/or CWI Certification.
  • Two-year technical degree preferred but will consider experience in lieu of degree.
  • Good working knowledge of common refinery process units and damage mechanisms.
  • National Board Commission (NBIC) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent understanding and demonstrated fluency in reliability centered processes (engineering practices, incident investigation & RCFA, maintenance processes and strategies).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, set aggressive but realistic schedules.
  • Working knowledge of industry personnel safety, process safety, and design standards and procedures.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and mentor staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style.
