Job Description

Job Summary:

Harbour Dental Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager to lead the practice operations, KPIs, provider relationships, and financial goals of the practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and delivering the Harbour Dental Care vision and core values, encouraging and fostering our team culture and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Practice Operations: Lead the practice operations, KPIs, provider relationships, and financial goals of the practice through the development of a high-performance practice team.
  • Team Management: Use company resources and tools to support the providers in the practice, grow the revenue, manage provider hours, and deliver the budget/plan financial outcome.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Execute company initiatives on desired timeline and complete all reporting required by the company.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Interact with company leadership to grow, support and direct the business.
  • Patient Experience: Interact with the leadership team to improve the patient experience, patient engagement, revenue cycle management process.
  • Customer Service: Provide high level customer service to the patients and ensure the premier Harbour Dental Care patient experience.
  • Team Development: Provide continual guidance and coaching for the team by focusing on personal and professional growth and improvement.
  • Meetings and Communication: Participate in all meetings, calls and huddles.
  • OSHA and Safety: Manage OSHA binder and emergency/safety protocols.
  • Travel: Up to 25% travel involved with this position to cover other offices as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prefer 5+ years of relevant dental experience working in treatment plans and financing options.
  • Dental Terminology: Experienced in dental terminology and confident with current dental billing and coding guidelines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Well developed analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Initiative and Accountability: High degree of initiative and accountability. A Self-starter with ability to accept direction, yet work independently.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven organizational skills, able to engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and produce high quality results while meeting deadlines.
  • Critical Thinking: Possess critical thinking, logic and reasoning skills.
