Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this position requires you to provide operational analysis, strategic insights, and tactical financial support to other executives. Your expertise in the construction sector, along with your leadership capabilities, will be vital in guiding your team and the broader organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all accounting and financial functions, managing the finance department.
  • Implement strategic vision through streamlined processes, establishing financial priorities.
  • Direct and manage financial operations, including budgets, tax returns, insurance, and reporting.
  • Evaluate financial strengths and weaknesses, taking necessary corrective actions.
  • Execute impactful initiatives, such as new investments and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with teams to assess project budgets and ensure profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, financial forecasts, and budgets.
  • Act as a corporate resource and supervise staff to ensure accurate financial deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting practices within the construction industry.
  • Strong skills in database management and accounting software.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP accounting, taxation, insurance, bonding, and related reporting.
  • Experience with software systems, particularly in modules such as GL, AR, AP, JC, PM, and CN (Sage experience preferred).
  • Exceptional communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to articulate company vision and strategy, maintain confidentiality, and engage effectively at all organizational levels.
