The Regulatory Risk Management Officer is a key strategic professional who remains informed about advancements within their field and contributes to the overarching strategy by applying their knowledge to their role and the organization.

Recognized as a technical authority in a specific area within the organization, this role requires a foundational understanding of commercial dynamics. Typically, there are several individuals within the organization who possess a similar level of subject matter expertise.

Strong communication and diplomatic skills are essential to guide, influence, and persuade others, particularly colleagues from different departments and occasional external clients.

This position has a significant impact on the area through complex deliverables and provides counsel related to the technology or operations of the organization. The work affects an entire area, ultimately influencing the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate to executive management the implications of existing and proposed regulations while developing potential responses.

This may encompass regulations related to specific products or macro/systemic regulations, including compliance standards such as Basel II/III, MiFID, U.S. Fed, Treasury, FDIC, and regulations from other central banks and regulatory bodies.

- Deliver risk strategic analytics and information management across Citi products, ensuring data quality and controls for other teams and managers.
- Provide regulatory risk project management support (business requirements, analysis, and testing) for the delivery of regulatory solutions (e.g., CECL, Part 30 core capabilities initiatives, stress testing, and CCAR regulatory requirements).
- Conduct business analysis to address regulatory and business inquiries and provide insights into the portfolio.
- Perform data analysis to monitor and ensure the quality and completeness of data.
- Manage various deliverables for the Portfolio Risk Review chapter, including involvement in the rationalization of End User Computing (EUC) tools used for Portfolio Risk Reviews.
- Collaborate with clients to understand and swiftly respond to their needs, proactively seeking feedback to drive organizational change.

- Assist in project management by working with business users to gather requirements and draft and coordinate approval for Business Requirement Documents (BRD).

- Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and transparently escalating, managing, and reporting control issues.


Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in product program governance and risk management frameworks.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (for metrics and data analysis), PowerPoint (for presentation decks), and Word (for writing and editing procedural and technical documentation).

- Comprehensive knowledge of credit source systems, collateral reporting systems, and end reporting/warehousing.
- Broad understanding of classifiable and delinquency-managed credit and operational policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated financial and risk reporting knowledge, along with experience from the business and/or technical areas is preferred.

- Project management experience with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders to achieve milestones and deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proven relationship management skills with the ability to strengthen relationships and build partnerships across the organization, including executive leadership and key functional support areas such as Government Affairs, Communications, Legal, Compliance, Control, in-business Risk, and Independent Risk.

- Strong knowledge of Citi products, risk processes, and controls, along with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.
- Experience in compiling process and data quality metrics, analyzing results, and effectively communicating data-driven analysis to senior management.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Required Licensing/Registration:
- Series 4, Series 7, Series 9, Series 10, Series 24.

Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree; Master's degree preferred.

- $117,000 - $176,160.00
