About the Role

As a seasoned sales professional, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion for Fooda, a leading provider of workplace food programs. In this Director of Business Development position, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, and developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities, leveraging industry connections and market research to identify potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including CEOs, CFOs, and other senior-level executives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer success, to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Develop and deliver customized sales proposals and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of Fooda's workplace food programs.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of direct enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in a sales or operations capacity at a food services provider, with a deep understanding of the industry and its trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of sales professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
