About the Job

**Director of Business Development, Listings**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at Vets Hired. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the listings market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to generate new business and drive revenue growth in the listings market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the industry, including homebuilders and developers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including generating leads and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with our land representatives to create builder relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Travel within the territory and attend industry conventions to close prospects and build relationships.
  • Present our listings product and builder solution products at company events and industry conferences.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5+ years of experience in a related digital/data services business development or outside sales role.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in the new home industry, including sales, marketing, and business development.
  • General knowledge and understanding of builder digital marketing technologies, including CRM, CMS, data feeds, and lead integration.
  • Previous experience in a SaaS environment with a focus on user acquisition.
  • Experience and desire to manage the entire sales process, including prospecting, needs analysis, and closing.
  • Strong prospecting, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to close business accounts and face frequent resistance and opposition from key decision-makers.
  • Ability to proactively look at data and upsell to provide continuous value to builder clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and ability to learn and develop new skills quickly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing technology.
Education:
  • BA or BS in Business or a relevant field.
