Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with department leaders to address staffing requirements, emphasizing recruitment strategies
  • Manage job advertisements, evaluate resumes, and conduct preliminary interviews
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide clarity on HR policies
  • Investigate employee relations issues and recommend appropriate actions
  • Oversee FMLA/CFRA requests
  • Encourage a positive organizational culture through employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with inquiries related to benefits and resolve issues promptly
  • Ensure adherence to employment regulations at both federal and state levels
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of HR policies
  • Assess training requirements and coordinate employee development activities
  • Support performance review processes and offer constructive feedback

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in human resources
  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist in a manufacturing setting
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment regulations and HR best practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Capacity to manage confidential information with integrity
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Certification from SHRM or HRCI is advantageous
