Position Overview

CLevelCrossing is seeking a Senior Vice President of Current Programming to lead our Current Programming division. This role is pivotal in maintaining the creative integrity and consistency of our programming slate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all facets of assigned primetime series across various platforms including network, cable, and streaming.
  • Review and assess weekly materials focusing on concept, character development, story structure, humor, and dialogue.
  • Act as a liaison among internal teams, network executives, and showrunners to ensure quality control and show maintenance.
  • Evaluate daily script revisions and dailies for drama series.
  • Participate in table reads, run-throughs, and tapings for comedy series.
  • Review agency submissions for writing staffs and episodic directors.
  • Book episodic directors and oversee on-air credits and character payments.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and prepare status reports to keep management informed on show-related matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in a creative executive role, with a preference for current programming experience in both drama and comedy.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all management levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills within the scope of responsibility.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work under strict deadlines.
