Position Overview
The E.C. Publications, Inc. is seeking a Senior Vice President of Television within the Creative Affairs division.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to formulate and implement a television content strategy that enhances the DC brand and aligns with franchise objectives.
- Craft and refine pitches, character outlines, and concept summaries based on DC intellectual properties for television.
- Oversee the strategic development slate.
- Evaluate scripts and creative materials for television productions.
- Provide feedback on character utilization across the entire DCE portfolio and suggest necessary modifications.
- Work closely with Producers, WBTV, and relevant partners to execute changes.
- Represent DCE in discussions concerning ongoing projects, both internally and with production entities.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Global Franchise Management, Marketing, PR, and Legal, to disseminate pertinent production information.
- Lead and mentor staff.
- Undertake additional related responsibilities as required.

Qualifications
- A BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience is essential.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in television development and production is required.
- Proven experience in drafting notes on treatments, scripts, outlines, and concept documents is necessary.
- Expertise in long-term planning for characters, stories, and properties is crucial.
- Prior experience in managing teams is required.
- Familiarity with the DC Comics library is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of the television industry, including development and production processes.
- Strong ability to create and develop written materials.
- Demonstrated collaboration and relationship-building skills are essential.
- Awareness of current DCE projects is beneficial.
