Your New Role...

As the Senior Vice President of Global Media Strategy, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing comprehensive media campaigns for our theatrical releases. You will lead our internal media teams, particularly focusing on digital and international media, while also managing a talented agency team of over 50 professionals. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the strategic planning, allocation, and monitoring of media buys across various platforms including television, digital, audio, and outdoor. You will collaborate closely with agency partners and third-party vendors to create and implement impactful media sponsorships. Additionally, you will serve as a vital link between the media department and other marketing divisions such as publicity, promotions, finance, and creative services. Your insights will be crucial in refining our media measurement solutions and leveraging data analytics to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities...
  • Design and implement media strategies for all theatrical releases across multiple channels including TV, digital, audio, outdoor, and experiential.
  • Lead and manage a diverse agency team of over 50, specializing in broadcast planning, digital strategy, social media, and marketing analytics.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the WB Theatrical media team, ensuring strategic alignment and high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with international teams to maintain cohesive and consistent campaigns globally; develop learning agendas and negotiate partnerships with global vendors.
  • Regularly communicate media strategy and updates to filmmakers, film partners, and senior executives.
  • Coordinate with publicity, creative, and servicing teams to engage talent and create content for media sponsorships and corporate synergy initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and recommend adjustments to WB media strategies as necessary.
  • Work closely with analytics and research teams to assess various data streams related to media campaign performance, translating findings into actionable insights for future strategies.
  • Collaborate with WB Finance to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of media budgets at both divisional and corporate levels.
Qualifications & Experience...
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in media strategy, planning, and execution, with at least 6 years in the entertainment sector.
  • Extensive experience in digital media and analytics is essential.
  • International experience is preferred.
  • A degree in Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing, media, and entertainment necessary for developing effective media plans for Warner Bros. films.
  • Ability to analyze media advertising effectiveness.
  • Proven capability to supervise and mentor support staff.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide clear direction to support staff.
