Job Overview

The Sales Counter and Warehouse Specialist plays a crucial role in managing our sales counter while ensuring the smooth operation of daily warehouse activities. This includes tasks such as order picking and verification, product loading and unloading, and maintaining inventory accuracy through advanced warehouse technology. The primary objective of this position is to deliver exceptional customer service while efficiently handling the procurement, processing, and dispatching of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Industry Representation: Act as a prominent representative of Gemaire in the HVAC sector.
  • Collaboration: Engage with internal sales teams, external vendors, and contractors to foster productive relationships.
  • Showroom Management: Oversee showroom merchandising and ensure products are restocked appropriately.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer issues effectively, catering to both dealers and end users.
  • Sales Order Processing: Manage the sales order process, focusing on upselling related products.
  • Product Handling: Conduct daily loading and unloading of merchandise.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock all incoming products, ensuring accuracy in orders.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and verify customer orders, preparing them for shipment as necessary.
  • Inventory Control: Assist in physical inventory counts and maintain inventory records.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Utilize and maintain warehouse equipment effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to all external customers.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Counter Sales position, ideally within the HVAC industry.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including sales acumen, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently while achieving assigned goals within specified timeframes.
  • Capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally within the company.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and prioritizing customer service.
