We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Counter Sales and Warehouse Associate to join our team at Watsco. As a key member of our sales and warehouse team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to external customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise, verifying all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety requirements and wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Merchandising: Represent GEMAIRE as a leader in the industry, interacting with internal and outside sales people, vendors, and contractors, and assist in resolving customer relations problems.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Skills: Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Preferred 2 Year / Bachelor's or Associate's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
  • Experience: Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred.
