Position Summary:

The Channel Marketing Manager for Outdoor Power Equipment is tasked with driving profitable market share growth. This role involves the development and implementation of channel penetration and harmonization strategies. The focus is on creating effective marketing, sales, and promotional strategies that meet sales objectives while optimizing working capital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Marketing & Assortment Planning:
    • Lead long-term strategic planning initiatives.
    • Oversee the development and execution of cross-functional business plans and objectives.
    • Direct brand strategy and positioning within designated channels and customers.
    • Conduct risk assessment and opportunity planning.
  • Channel & Customer Management:
    • Analyze and understand key objectives and strategies of channel partners.
    • Guide customer line review strategies and development.
  • New Product Launch Planning & Execution:
    • Design and implement comprehensive commercialization plans for new products with strategic customers, collaborating with brand, sales, and product teams.
    • Lead the creation and execution of channel-specific launch materials and programs.
  • Co-Marketing & Merchandising:
    • Develop and execute integrated co-marketing campaigns with customers and key partners.
    • Oversee the strategy and production of compelling sales and point-of-purchase materials across various platforms.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of experience in channel management or account management.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing product pricing strategies in retail.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with sales performance metrics and analytics.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with key business metrics such as sales and gross margin.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.

Travel Requirements:

This role may require up to 15% travel, including occasional international travel.


Work Environment:

This position is based in a professional office setting with options for hybrid work arrangements. Regular communication with international teams via email and video conferencing is expected.
