Position Summary:
The Channel Marketing Manager for Outdoor Power Equipment plays a pivotal role in driving profitable market share growth. This involves crafting and executing strategies for channel penetration and alignment. The role encompasses the development of marketing, sales, and promotional strategies across various channels to achieve sales targets and optimize profitability while managing working capital efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing & Product Planning:
    • Lead long-term strategic planning initiatives.
    • Oversee the creation and implementation of cross-functional business plans and objectives.
    • Direct brand strategy and positioning for assigned customers and channels.
    • Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Channel & Customer Engagement:
    • Analyze and understand the objectives and strategies of key channel partners.
    • Develop and implement customer line review strategies.
  • New Product Launch Strategy:
    • Design and execute comprehensive commercialization plans for new products in collaboration with brands, sales, and customers.
    • Lead the development of channel-specific launch materials and programs.
  • Co-Marketing & Merchandising:
    • Develop and execute integrated co-marketing campaigns with customers and key partners.
    • Create compelling sales and point-of-purchase materials tailored to specific channels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of experience in channel management or account management.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing pricing strategies in a retail context.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with sales performance metrics and analytics.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Familiarity with key business metrics such as sales and gross margin.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.

Travel Requirements:
This role may require up to 15% travel, including occasional international travel.


Work Environment:
This position is based in a professional office setting with the option for hybrid work arrangements. Regular communication with international teams via email and video conferencing is expected.
