Position Summary:
The Junior Brand Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in aiding the formulation and implementation of marketing initiatives aimed at bolstering brand equity and recognition. This position is integral to the Brand Marketing team and reports directly to the Senior Brand Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Vision: Collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager to establish a comprehensive long-term strategy for the brand. Gain insights into consumer behavior and leverage this understanding to shape strategic positioning, product roadmaps, and demand generation tactics.
- Product Introduction: Assist in all marketing endeavors related to the launch of new products. This includes the creation of visual assets, defining product features and benefits, overseeing packaging design, and managing the overall launch process to ensure excellence across various categories.
- Product Line Evaluation: Work alongside the Brand Manager and coordinate with Product, Channel, and Sales teams to prepare presentations for retail partners. Integrate brand strategy with market trends and sales strategies.
- Advertising Initiatives: Contribute to the development of a demand generation strategy aimed at increasing market share. This encompasses advertising planning and collaboration with agency partners, internal creative teams, and digital marketing departments.
- Brand Integrity: Partner with the Legal team to secure trademarks for product names and logos.
- Collaborative Efforts: Act as the brand champion within the organization and with external stakeholders. Work closely with global teams across Marketing, Sales, and Product Management to ensure cohesive execution of brand strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing is preferred; an MBA is advantageous.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
- Excellent project management capabilities.
- Professional demeanor with a collaborative approach.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills to assess performance and sales metrics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in the home goods sector, particularly with key retailers, is a plus.
