Key Responsibilities- Collaborate effectively with various engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
- Engage in the evaluation and verification of designs, schematics, and data produced by peers or subcontractors.
- Conduct design analyses, define project scopes, and develop engineering cost estimates.
- Provide informed recommendations based on extensive industry knowledge and experience.
- Supervise and guide both routine and advanced technical tasks performed by team members, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee budget management, project scope, timelines, and quality metrics with minimal oversight.
- Draft specifications for electrical equipment procurement and installation, assess technical proposals, and select appropriate equipment.
- Innovate solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of industry precedents.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in power system design.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and criteria relevant to power systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong writing, presentation, and communication abilities.
- Capable of functioning independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
- Willingness to travel for field installations, testing, and commissioning, with travel requirements ranging from 10-15%.
- Potential for extended client site assignments.
- Professional Engineering License is preferred.
