Job Overview

The Shopping Center Group is seeking a Tenant Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This role is based in our office and allows for some remote work flexibility. The Tenant Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting the Property Management team, overseeing a varied portfolio that includes retail centers, office buildings, and industrial properties.

Key Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.).
  • Experience with commercial property management systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Building Engines.
  • Understanding of property accounting and expense classification.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Residing in the DC Metro/Northern Virginia area.

Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Assist the property management team in preparing various reports.
  • Prepare and edit necessary documents.
  • Update vendor contracts and maintain certificates of insurance.
  • Manage tenant and vendor work order systems.
  • Assist in tracking service contracts and preparing bid packages.
  • Document key meeting notes and agendas.
  • Support financial processes such as check requests and billing adjustments.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
  • Address tenant maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors.
  • Assist with rent collection processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Review and request tenant sales reports.
