Job Overview

The Shopping Center Group is seeking a Tenant Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is based in our office and offers the flexibility of remote work on select days. The Tenant Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our Property Management division, overseeing a diverse array of retail, office, and industrial properties within the metropolitan area.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.).
  • Experience with major commercial property management software such as Yardi, MRI, or Building Engines.
  • Understanding of property accounting and expense classification.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Residing in the DC Metro/Northern Virginia area.

Core Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Assist the property management team in preparing various reports.
  • Prepare and edit necessary documentation.
  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
  • Oversee tenant and vendor work order systems.
  • Support the maintenance of service contracts and track expiration dates.
  • Document key meeting notes and agendas.
  • Assist with financial processes such as check requests and billing adjustments.
  • Contribute to special projects as needed.
  • Address tenant maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors.
  • Assist with rent collection processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Review and request tenant sales reports.
