Core Objective:
As a project coordinator, support the Program Manager in executing BSA-AML initiatives. Provide daily project assistance as directed by the BSA-AML Program Manager, which encompasses project planning, organizing workshops, drafting and disseminating meeting notes, ensuring the fulfillment of workshop action items with designated owners, and preparing materials for steering committee discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and scheduling workshops with Workstream Leads and the Program Manager.
  • Creating and distributing meeting minutes, action items, decisions, etc.
  • Assisting in managing the intake process for new action items arising from various workshops and project meetings; overseeing the tracking log, following up on status, and ensuring the completion of outstanding items.
  • Managing the entry and updates of Security-related issues/findings within the GRC system.
  • Ensuring effective management of projects from inception through execution.
  • Collaborating with project teams to develop and coordinate project plans.
  • Ensuring timelines are adhered to and project objectives are achieved through effective management and monitoring of project milestones and timelines.
  • Developing presentation materials with the Program Manager to inform the governance forum, including communication of progress and status of project activities to Leadership, highlighting risks and issues of the focused program, etc.
  • Providing additional support to assist in the Program Management of the BSA/AML Program.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in managing complex projects, handling multiple priorities independently and/or in a team setting to achieve objectives.
  • Advanced organizational, planning, and time management capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in developing and managing relationships across business units and the organization, fostering effective relationships through rapport, trust, and tact.
  • Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of project lifecycles and project management methodologies.
  • Advanced presentation software skills, with attention to detail.
  • Preferred familiarity or experience with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes.
  • Preferred 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, including Project Management Certification.
