Business Development Director, Med Tech Strategic Sales

About the Role:
Medidata Solutions is seeking an experienced sales leader to join our team as a Director of Med Tech Strategic Sales. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals focused on the MedTech market. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth and revenue within the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of sales representatives to drive bookings and revenue within the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow footprint and brand awareness across existing MedTech customers.
- Identify new opportunities at existing customers and prospects to build a pipeline.
- Interact with executive-level management and coordinate on sales plays and programs targeted to MedTech accounts.
- Accomplish all quota targets and represent Dassault Systemes & Medidata in a manner consistent with company values.
- Maintain account and opportunity data within company systems, including Salesforce.com.
- Forecast team performance each quarter.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience in a similar sales leadership role. Experience in the life sciences industry, specifically in MedTech, is highly desirable. Additionally, experience in SaaS or related technology sales, knowledge of life sciences industry functions, and a demonstrated track record in exceeding sales targets are essential. About Us:

We offer a competitive salary range of $137,250 - $183,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a base salary, most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents. We also offer best-in-class benefits, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) matching; flexible paid time off; and 10 paid holidays per year.
