We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our project team.

Position Overview

  • Act as a liaison for NMCI as a Contract Technical Representative (ACTR) Support.
  • Oversee ACTR responsibilities, manage contract obligations, and provide client support.
  • Execute tasks as directed by the government Technical Point of Contact (TPOC), including MAC Requests, Pre-Invoice Validation, and Invoice Management, as well as Change Services (Move, Add, and Change Services), transition procedures, issue escalation, and Service Requests.
  • Handle all NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) actions, including account creations and NMCI orders.
  • Prepare and manage hardware and Fast Track Orders.
  • Coordinate and finalize annual NMCI Asset Reconciliation and fiscal year rollover activities.
  • Conduct NMCI pre-Invoice validation and invoice oversight.
  • Review NMCI communications, including emails, meeting attendance, and meeting notes.
  • Monitor and escalate NMCI issues, network outages, and local technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with NAVSEA HQ Service Desk for the maintenance of public folders, shared drives, and distribution lists.
  • Communicate NMCI and internal business protocols to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize a comprehensive knowledge of IT to identify, recommend, and implement effective solutions, products, and services.
  • Provide Tier I problem resolution services, leveraging the latest technology to proactively mitigate issues and restore degraded IT systems efficiently.
  • Deliver customer support while managing Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) hardware and software inventory, ensuring all assets are accounted for.
  • Evaluate and report on the technical aspects of NMCI operations, serving as the interface between technical operations and the command's operational requirements.
Qualifications
  • Secret Clearance and Security + Certification are mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of experience without a degree.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
