Role Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Project Manager with a robust engineering foundation to join our team at C2 Group. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of high-caliber projects for our clients in the power utility sector. Your responsibilities will include managing client interactions, overseeing contractual obligations, and effectively communicating project dynamics through the adept use of project management tools and data visualizations. Your ability to connect intricate project details with stakeholders will be essential in maintaining alignment, forecasting potential issues, and relaying them to leadership and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Utilize project management tools to convey project dynamics, including timelines, customized dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive resolution of issues to minimize impact on timelines.
  • Contribute to internal operations, proposal development, and specialized projects focused on market analysis and industry trends.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance project management and consulting services.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and workshops to foster professional development and expand networks.
  • Support the initiation of strategic business consulting projects, providing expertise and insights to drive project success.
  • Develop and sustain strong client relationships through regular communication, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Oversee contractual commitments, ensuring compliance and effective management of project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for process enhancement, implementing changes that improve project efficiency and quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers, engineers, and team members, sharing knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate and execute business strategies, goals, and objectives.
  • Engage in business development activities to support the growth and expansion of C2 Group's services and client base.

Desired Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in California.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in a project management capacity within a similar industry.
  • Ability to identify and analyze complex challenges, developing innovative and adaptable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills essential for effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
  • Proactive, strategic mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable navigating unfamiliar areas of expertise.
  • Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership of work.
  • Curious and eager to learn about a wide range of topics.
  • Proficient in collaborative software platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp communities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
