RICK Engineering Company is a leading engineering-based consulting firm that specializes in land development projects. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer Project Manager Associate to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in land development, with a minimum of five years of experience in project management. They will be responsible for guiding the infrastructure needed for multi-disciplinary teams working on meaningful and landmark projects in the West.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Supervise engineering designers, manage project schedules and budgets, and prepare contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
  • Client and Public Agency Interactions: Establish and maintain strong and positive working relationships with clients and public agency personnel.
  • Technical Expertise: Prepare preliminary engineering design studies, tentative and final subdivision maps, public improvement plans, and development plans for commercial and residential developments.
  • Software Proficiency: AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/Inroads CAD experience required.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of land development experience or equivalent of ten years of total work experience.
  • Qualifications: Independent thought and decision-making abilities, management and supervisory skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
