We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to lead the charge in defining product specifications, overseeing system engineering, and ensuring the successful integration and validation of this new product line.

If you possess extensive experience in key hardware technologies (such as displays, cameras, sensors, and wearables), a strong focus on customer needs, and a proven track record of guiding complex projects through their lifecycle, we would be eager to connect with you.


Key Responsibilities:


As a System Integration EPM, your role will involve close collaboration with various teams, including system engineering, electrical, mechanical, algorithm, and software divisions, to create and refine high-performance hardware products.


Your responsibilities will include:


- Leading the cross-functional development of requirements and validation strategies at the product, system, and module levels, informed by performance objectives and technological limitations.

- Identifying critical inquiries and coordinating teams to efficiently address them.

- Articulating the relationship between technical choices and customer experiences, ensuring clear communication of impacts.

- Resolving architectural and integration challenges to inform future engineering iterations.


Minimum Qualifications:


- Strong understanding of consumer electronics system architectures.

- Proven ability to navigate system-level development trade-offs.- Established skills in planning and executing development processes for advanced consumer electronics, including prototype builds and overall product strategy.- Solid technical foundation in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering.- A minimum of 5 years of relevant hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics.- At least 3 years of project management experience overseeing cross-functional teams throughout various program phases (architecture, integration, validation).- Proactive, self-motivated, with excellent critical thinking skills and meticulous attention to detail.- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with rapid development cycles and frequent changes.- Willingness to travel internationally to support development initiatives.- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.


Preferred Qualifications:


- Experience with camera systems, display technologies, and/or wearable consumer electronics.

- Proven ability to lead diverse cross-functional teams and achieve optimal product solutions.- Experience as the primary liaison with vendors and contract manufacturers to establish daily build plans and provide clear direction to meet program objectives.


Compensation & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a range.

The base pay range for this position is between $129,600 and $236,300, with actual pay depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in our discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are also eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
