We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to lead the integration and validation efforts for a groundbreaking product category. This role demands a strong technical background and the ability to navigate complex development processes while focusing on customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

As the System Integration EPM, you will collaborate with various teams, including system engineering, electrical, mechanical, algorithm, and software, to design and develop cutting-edge hardware products. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Driving the cross-functional development of requirements and validation plans at the product, system, and module levels, taking into account technology constraints and performance targets.
  • Identifying critical questions and organizing teams to efficiently derive answers.
  • Communicating the implications of technical decisions on customer experience clearly and effectively.
  • Resolving architectural and integration challenges to inform subsequent engineering iterations.
Qualifications
  • Proficient understanding of consumer electronics system architectures.
  • Proven ability to navigate system-level development trade-offs.
  • Experience in planning and executing development for advanced consumer electronics products, including prototype builds and overall product strategy.
  • Strong technical foundation in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics.
  • 3+ years of project management experience overseeing cross-functional teams through various program phases (architecture, integration, validation).
  • Self-motivated with excellent critical thinking skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapid development cycles and frequent changes.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to support development initiatives.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with camera systems, display technologies, and wearable consumer electronics.
  • Ability to lead diverse cross-functional teams and synthesize various perspectives into optimal product solutions.
  • Experience as the primary liaison with vendors and contract manufacturers to establish build plans and provide clear guidance to meet program objectives.
Compensation & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a specified range. This structure allows for growth as you advance in your role. The base pay range for this position is between $129,600 and $236,300, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the opportunity to participate in stock programs and receive discretionary stock unit awards. Benefits include comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts on products and services, and reimbursement for educational expenses related to career advancement. Additionally, this role may be eligible for bonuses or commission payments, as well as relocation assistance.
