Position Overview: Regional Pharmaceutical Sales Leader

Amplity Health is currently seeking a Regional Pharmaceutical Sales Leader.

The Regional Sales Leader is a results-oriented and strategic thinker responsible for guiding a team of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives to achieve or surpass sales targets. This role reports directly to the Amplity National Program Director.

The leader will be tasked with recruiting, training, and nurturing a team of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives. They will mentor, lead, and coach their team to foster a compliant and high-performing environment.

By exemplifying integrity, teamwork, excellence, effective communication, and accountability, the leader will drive sales success through their team.

This position offers a competitive salary with bonus potential, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, medical, vision, 401K, company-funded long-term and short-term disability, life insurance, wellness programs, company-paid holidays, generous paid time off, and more.

Compensation for this role is expected to be in the range of $150K to $160K.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed regional sales objectives.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor actions, and sales data to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring team compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients.
  • Develop Sales Representatives to enhance their growth and sales performance.
  • Monitor and assess sales representatives' performance through regular evaluations and key performance indicators.
  • Utilize sales metrics and CRM tools to track progress and optimize sales strategies.
  • Encourage a culture of teamwork and recognition.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to ensure alignment and engagement.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team that consistently meets sales objectives.
  • Oversee expenditures and ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
  • Travel for client and corporate meetings as required, in addition to weekly regional travel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of successful experience in pharmaceutical sales management.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Highly collaborative and effective communicator.
  • Proficient in attracting, interviewing, and hiring top sales talent in a compliant manner.
  • Effective sales coaching skills and proven strategies for employee retention.
  • Resilient with the ability to overcome obstacles to success.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make sound business decisions.
  • Must pass a background check, including motor vehicle records, and possess a valid U.S. driver's license with a safe driving history.
  • Willingness to travel weekly, 50% or more of the time.
  • Strong technical skills with digital meeting platforms and Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred:

  • Experience with product launches.
  • Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical management.
