POSITION OVERVIEW:
The role involves representing AgriGold Hybrids in the marketing and distribution of seed products directly to farmers and dealers within a designated territory. The primary objective is to maximize sales and enhance market penetration of the brand. The key territory for this position encompasses several counties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Formulate and execute a Business Plan aimed at achieving or exceeding sales targets. Focus on acquiring new customers and dealers while nurturing and expanding existing accounts. Enhance brand visibility and promote marketing initiatives. Leverage digital tools and resources to boost sales performance. Maintain financial accountability by adhering to the assigned budget. Collaborate closely with Sales Agronomists to develop and implement a hybrid and variety research and testing strategy within the assigned district. Inform the Area Business Manager of significant market developments in the district that may impact sales or personnel. Ensure timely submission of reports and completion of assigned tasks. Address product issues within the territory and manage routine challenges. Participate in Regional Sales Meetings and other company events. Uphold a positive representation of AgriGold Hybrids and AgReliant Genetics while aligning with the Company's Core Values. Maintain the appearance of Company vehicles and equipment. Perform additional duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of professional sales or account management experience, or at least one year of sales experience in the agricultural sector. Certification as a Crop Advisor (CCA) is preferred. Familiarity with the seed industry is essential.SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Proven self-motivation and initiative. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong time management abilities and a robust work ethic. Capability to work collaboratively within a team. Attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint).PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to fulfill required hours and travel as necessary. Capability to lift up to 60 lbs. Must possess a valid driver's license and meet AgReliant's MVR standards, maintaining CMV requirements. Some overnight travel may be necessary.#LI-Remote
