Position Overview: Regional Pharmaceutical Sales Leader
Amplity Health is seeking a dynamic Regional Pharmaceutical Sales Leader to spearhead our sales initiatives.
The Regional Sales Leader is a results-oriented professional responsible for guiding a team of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives to achieve and surpass sales targets. Reporting directly to the National Program Director, this role is pivotal in driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed regional sales goals.
- Assess market dynamics, competitor strategies, and sales analytics to pinpoint opportunities and challenges.
- Proactively address and resolve issues promptly.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with clients to foster strong relationships.
- Mentor and develop Sales Representatives to enhance their performance and career growth.
- Regularly evaluate team performance through comprehensive reviews and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize sales metrics and CRM systems to monitor progress and refine strategies.
- Cultivate a team-oriented environment that rewards collaboration.
- Conduct frequent team meetings and individual sessions to maintain alignment and engagement.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team dedicated to achieving sales objectives.
- Oversee budgetary expenditures and ensure compliance with financial protocols.
- Travel as necessary for client and corporate engagements, including regular regional travel.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in pharmaceutical sales management.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to attract, interview, and hire top sales talent ethically.
- Effective coaching skills with a track record of employee retention.
- Resilient and capable of overcoming obstacles to success.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound business judgment.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record; background check required.
- Willingness to travel frequently, at least 50% of the time.
- Proficient in digital meeting platforms and Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred:
- Experience with product launches.
- Background in specialty pharmaceuticals.
- Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical management.
