Zantech is in search of a skilled Acquisition Analyst to assist with our initiatives involving the Federal Government.

The Acquisition Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting and advising on acquisition and procurement procedures, including pre- and post-award tasks with the DHS CBP. Responsibilities encompass the formulation of acquisition strategies, analysis of requirements, cost estimation, and monitoring contract performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Award Support:

  • Facilitate initial strategy discussions and document results.
  • Draft acquisition documentation (e.g., work statements, acquisition plans).
  • Conduct market analysis to endorse the utilization of commercial products and services.
  • Develop acquisition strategies and define requirements.
  • Create acquisition documentation and comprehensive planning.
Cost Estimation and Analysis:
  • Execute cost estimation and analytical tasks.
  • Monitor milestones and timelines to fulfill acquisition objectives.
  • Establish a baseline for common procurement requirements.
Post-Award Support:
  • Prepare options and assist with modifications to contracts.
  • Monitor contract performance against established benchmarks.
  • Support contract closure and capture lessons learned.
  • Edit, review, and finalize reports, plans, meeting summaries, and other acquisition-related documents.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in acquisition management, procurement, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in acquisition and procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive market research and deliver actionable insights.
  • Experience in contract management and performance monitoring.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM).
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required Security Clearance:
  • Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), the minimum investigation required.
