Position Overview:
Zantech is seeking a skilled Program Manager to facilitate our initiatives with federal agencies.
The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all facets of program management, ensuring timely project completion, adherence to budget constraints, and compliance with established standards. This role includes supervising staff, providing guidance, collaborating with government representatives, and ensuring all required deliverables are submitted promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Personnel Oversight and Coordination:
- Supervise team members in their assigned tasks.
- Offer guidance to contractor personnel to ensure work aligns with schedules and accuracy standards.
- Collaborate with government representatives to prioritize and assign tasks.
- Ensure timely submission of all deliverables.
2. Financial and Budget Oversight:
- Assist in managing portfolio acquisition activities, including analysis and management of investment data.
- Monitor compliance with acquisition policies and procedures.
- Provide financial management support, including budget analysis and financial reporting.
- Assist in budget preparation and execution.
- Analyze expenditures and maintain financial forecasts.
3. Risk and Requirements Management:
- Support risk management processes, including planning, identification, and mitigation strategies.
- Assist in requirements management and performance monitoring.
- Help develop risk management plans and document control procedures.
4. Program and Project Management:
- Support program and project management activities, including planning and performance evaluation.
- Assist in the development and updates of lifecycle management processes.
- Document meetings and project reviews to capture essential data.
- Facilitate regular project management reviews.
5. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Provide communication across various stakeholder groups, including executive announcements and information sharing.
- Support customer relationship management to enhance interactions with federal agencies.
- Facilitate ongoing engagement activities and assist in drafting communication plans for external stakeholders.
6. Acquisition Management:
- Assist with acquisition and procurement processes, including pre- and post-award activities.
- Support the formulation of acquisition strategies and documentation development.
- Track milestones to meet acquisition goals and assist with contract modifications.
7. Asset Management:
- Support logistics and asset management activities, including the development of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan.
- Analyze user requirements to provide critical data for project execution.
- Maintain processes for the accountability of IT assets.
- Assist with inventory activities and setup of workstations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in program management, preferably in a government context.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Understanding of government acquisition policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with federal program management systems.
- Advanced certifications in program or project management.
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
