We are excited to announce an opening for a talented Acquisition Specialist to support our initiatives with federal agencies.
The Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting, guiding, and supporting acquisition and procurement processes, as well as pre- and post-award activities. This includes formulating acquisition strategies, analyzing requirements, estimating costs, and tracking contract performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Award Support:
- Facilitate initial strategy discussions and document outcomes.
- Draft acquisition documents, including work statements and acquisition plans.
- Conduct market research to support the utilization of commercial items and services.
- Develop acquisition strategies and requirements.
- Create comprehensive acquisition documentation and integrated planning.
- Perform detailed cost estimation and analysis.
- Monitor milestones and timelines to ensure acquisition objectives are met.
- Establish a baseline for common procurement requirements.
- Prepare options and assist with contract modifications.
- Monitor contract performance against established goals.
- Support contract closeout and document lessons learned.
- Edit, review, and finalize reports, plans, meeting summaries, and other acquisition documents.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in acquisition management, procurement, or a related area.
- Proficiency in acquisition and procurement software and tools.
- Ability to conduct thorough market research and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with contract management and performance tracking.
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM).
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), the minimum investigation required.
