The Acquisition Analyst will play a crucial role in assisting, supporting, and guiding acquisition and procurement processes, as well as pre- and post-award activities. This encompasses the formulation of acquisition strategies, analysis of requirements, cost estimation, and monitoring contract performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Award Support:

  • Facilitate initial strategy discussions and document the outcomes.
  • Draft acquisition documents such as work statements and acquisition plans.
  • Conduct market research to inform the use of commercial items and services.
  • Develop acquisition strategies and define requirements.
  • Create acquisition documentation and integrated planning.
Cost Estimation and Analysis:
  • Execute cost estimation and analysis tasks.
  • Monitor milestones and timelines to ensure acquisition objectives are met.
  • Establish a baseline for common procurement requirements.
Post-Award Support:
  • Prepare options and assist with modifications to contracts.
  • Track contract performance against established benchmarks.
  • Support contract closeout processes and capture lessons learned.
  • Edit, review, and finalize reports, plans, meeting summaries, and other acquisition-related documents.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in acquisition management, procurement, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in acquisition and procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive market research and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience in contract management and performance monitoring.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Required Security Clearance:
  • Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), the minimum investigation required.
