The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and grow a book of business while building and maintaining strong client relationships, focusing on customer satisfaction and retention. This involves serving as the direct link between the Company and the client, managing day-to-day affairs with moderate supervision and support.

The target account size for this position is generally $50,000 and under in annual revenue. However, you may occasionally be expected to handle a small number of larger accounts with additional marketing and strategic support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and coordinate high-level client service satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as an insurance advocate and point person for all client requests.
  • Handle all aspects of account management, including coordination with Claims and Loss Control resources.
  • Build, support, and cross-sell to sustain book of business growth.
  • Review complex endorsement requests.
  • Facilitate contracts for insurance requirements and policy contents.
  • Rapidly address issues/errors and escalate to management.
  • Renewal handling and marketing.
  • Prepare and lead strategy meetings and Client Renewal meetings and presentations.
  • Prepare submissions accordingly.
  • Negotiate with underwriters.
  • Maintain accurate agency management system documentation and upkeep in adherence with Company policies and protocols.
  • Support producer relationship management and count round-out efforts.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and license maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Broker's license.
  • 10 years of prior experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
