Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Sherwood Lumber Corporation. This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for managing and expanding business relationships with targeted prospects and large clients.
  • Developing and implementing strategy, sales plan, and forecasts for overall business development, sales, and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Directs Outside Sales/Specialty Sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
  2. Maintain a strong company culture and positive team environment.
  3. Directs and coordinates activities involving sales of specialty products and services.
  4. Generates and develops new business to meet specified goals.
  5. Maintains and nurtures new and existing client relationships.
  6. Manages consistent growth within particular client base.
  7. Makes and develops contacts with selected staffing clients and strategic partners.
  8. Develops customer relations including but not limited to sales leads, research, cold calling, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service.
  9. Maintains and develops client relations for new and larger established existing customers, assuring all existing customers are contacted regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and develop need-based marketing relations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or four to six years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite; and ERP System.
