About the Role:

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Market Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our program teams, you will provide quantitative decision support, generate market insights through data analysis, and contribute to program design and efficiency analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex models to forecast energy savings potential and conduct risk and opportunity sensitivity analysis.
  • Collaborate with program teams to build a continuous dialog between analysis and program decision-making.
  • Develop and use analytical insights to influence program teams and inform decisions that improve program design and results.
  • Support the development and integration of analytic best practices across the Market Planning and Analysis team.
  • Prepare documentation of analysis inputs and outputs and present regularly to external stakeholders and regulators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business, data science, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in financial planning or analysis, operations research or economic analysis and modeling.
  • Proven analytical track record including expert-level Excel skills and experience with programming in Python or R.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information from a variety of sources.
  • Experience identifying stakeholder needs and recommending and developing actions/plans to meet those needs.
  • Proven expertise in developing well-structured, documented, easily understood analytical models.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and explain statistical data, estimates, and projections.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $95,000 - $105,000.
  • 90% of medical/dental premiums paid by NEEA, including for dependents.
