Job Summary

Dextera Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior FOIA Analyst to join our team. As a Junior FOIA Analyst, you will play a critical role in preparing source data for entry, verifying and logging receipt of data, and obtaining missing data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Preparation: Prepare source data for entry by opening and sorting mail, verifying and logging receipt of data, and obtaining missing data.
  • Document Management: Scan fingerprint cards and provide an excel spreadsheet of the fingerprint card information.
  • Record Keeping: Sorts and files records, and protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Correspondence: Writes, types, or enters information into the computer, using a keyboard, to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents.
  • FOIA Processing: Process FOIA requests.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge and Experience: Comprehensive knowledge of FOIA processing systems, prior record and documentation management experience, and excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a government public trust level clearance.
Work Environment

The work is primarily sedentary, with consistent and direct visual contact with a computer monitor. The work is performed in an office setting that is adequately lit and climate controlled.
