PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The FOIA Analyst will be tasked with organizing source materials for data entry, which includes sorting incoming correspondence, confirming and logging data receipt, and acquiring any missing information.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Digitally scan fingerprint documentation and compile an Excel spreadsheet detailing the fingerprint card data.
  • Utilize a keyboard to compose, type, or input information into the system for various documents such as correspondence, invoices, statements, receipts, and checks, while also transferring data between records.
  • Systematically organize and archive records.
  • Safeguard the organization's integrity by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Review and edit records or forms for accuracy.
  • Facilitate the processing of FOIA requests.

KEY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Thorough understanding of FOIA processing systems.
  • Experience in records and documentation management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government public trust level clearance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

The role is primarily sedentary, requiring consistent visual engagement with a computer monitor. The work environment is an office setting that is adequately illuminated and climate-controlled.
