This role involves leading a dedicated team within the CBP Office of Acquisitions (OA), Mission Support Division (MSD), delivering comprehensive administrative, communication, data analysis, strategic planning, and program management assistance.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the efforts of a small team to meet all MSD task area requirements.
- Assist with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, including maintaining the Microsoft SharePoint site, ensuring the accuracy and completion of FOIA submissions, and providing metrics and updates for various reports.
- Support the Audits Division with both internal and external audits, as well as other related tasks as assigned.
- Assist government officials with Congressional, OIG, and higher headquarters requests.
- Help prepare SES and headquarters-level briefs, white papers, and memos that support strategic recommendations.
- Develop and manage project plans, tracking tasks and timelines effectively.
- Assist the Government project manager in setting team priorities.
- Contribute to the development of acquisition milestone documentation and acquisition portfolio assessments.
- Prepare summaries, analyses, reports, charts, graphs, instructions, memoranda, and reference materials for benchmarking or inclusion in reports.
- Engage with senior management levels effectively.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Freedom of Information Act, and the DHS Acquisition Manual (HSAM), along with other regulatory and policy guidelines.
- Familiarity with Government Accountability Office and Office of Inspector General audit requests and processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
- Proven initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize work effectively.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with experience supporting senior government officials and business professionals.
- Ability to research, gather, and synthesize data efficiently.
- Capability to present findings and recommendations to management clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
