Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BMC3 Ecosystem Lead to join our team at SAIC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in supporting the Space Development Agency (SDA) in developing and deploying the Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) software development and hosting environment for the National Defense Space Architecture (NDSA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical and programmatic support across multiple systematic engineering needs with SAFE Agile Software Development best practices.
  • Integration and Testing: Proactively provide technical advice to Integrated Product Team (IPT Leads) on successful mitigation and reporting strategies implemented by internal configuration management plan and project management office.
  • Operations and Maintenance: Support and coordinate with the Operations & Integration NDSA Group contractors on the Verification and Tests for the SIL, BMC3 software/firmware deliveries, and New Applications tests.
  • Team Management: Lead team in managing internal team and contractor progress within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
  • Communication: Developing and briefing data packages that provide analysis results to inform the government decision-makers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and ten plus (18+) years of experience; master's degree and eight plus (8+) years of experience; PhD or JD and six plus (6+) years of experience in space, ground, operations and sustainment segments of DoD, NSA, or NRO programs.
  • Clearance: US Citizen and at least an Active Secret Clearance preferably active TS or ability to obtain a TS within hiring.
  • Experience: Proven delivery record of similarly focused programs; experience with integrating multiple programs/products to deliver a system of systems or series of capability deliveries.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse workforce including government personnel, contractors, and matrix dynamic technical teams; excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications
  • Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Education: Advanced Degree in Project Management, Science, Engineering or Math.
  • Certification: AWS Solution Architect.
