Washington, Washington, D.C., United States CIRCLE Full time
About Circle

Circle is a pioneering financial technology company at the forefront of the emerging internet of money, where value can flow freely and efficiently, just like digital data. Our innovative infrastructure, including the blockchain-based USDC, empowers businesses, institutions, and developers to harness the potential of this groundbreaking new internet layer and capitalize on the major turning point in the evolution of money and technology.

Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Developer Marketing team as a Developer Relations Manager for the Americas region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving developer relations and advocacy efforts to foster engagement and ensure a seamless platform experience for developers. Your primary focus will be on creating compelling content, leading workshops, and speaking at meetups to inspire builders in the Web3 space. You will also support developers in providing valuable insights to internal teams for ongoing enhancements and represent Circle at industry events, fostering relationships, and increasing visibility in the developer ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be an active and authentic participant in Web3 communities, serving as the face of Circle and providing support to developers.
  • Create engaging content that educates and guides developers to build applications faster with Circle tools and services.
  • Develop and execute strategic developer growth and engagement strategies that contribute directly to Circle's GTM objectives.
  • Attend, speak, and present at crypto and blockchain conferences targeted at developers and builders.
  • Champion customer needs in the rapidly changing crypto and blockchain problem space.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to amplify the transparency and trust of Circle to developers.
Core Values

We aspire to four core values that guide our actions and decisions:

  • Multistakeholder - We are dedicated to our customers, shareholders, employees, and local communities.
  • Mindful - We strive to be respectful, active listeners, and detail-oriented.
  • Driven by Excellence - We relentlessly pursue excellence, do not tolerate mediocrity, and work intensely to achieve our goals.
  • High Integrity - We seek open and honest communication and hold ourselves to high moral and ethical standards, rejecting manipulation, dishonesty, and intolerance.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Software Engineering, or a related role, ideally in the crypto and blockchain ecosystem.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a specific strength in elegantly communicating technically complicated topics.
  • Ownership mentality; you are the sole owner of your vision and initiatives and will do what is required to ensure success.
  • Strong hands-on development experience; you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and build a demo if needed.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at any given time without sacrificing quality or nuance.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%+ of time across multiple countries.
