About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
  • Provide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
  • Monitor and notify according to procedures
Requirements
  • Five (5) years' experience as an SA on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • System Administrator – SHIFT (SAS) Level 1
  • This is a NIGHT FLOATER position
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
  • CompTIA Linux+
  • Linux Professional Institute (LPIC) level 1 or higher
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Certification
