About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer 2 to join our team at Quevera LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level systems and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Linux-based systems and solutions for enterprise environments
  • Manage and maintain complex system configurations, including Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins
  • Deploy and configure enterprise solutions worldwide, utilizing AWS-based technologies
  • Install, configure, and manage Linux operating systems, including RHEL and CENTOS
  • Configure and troubleshoot network components, including VMWare and RAID configurations
  • Implement operating system enhancements and prototype enterprise-scale solutions
  • Develop and support Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications
  • Perform detailed analysis and execute shell scripts
  • Deploy applications and utilize Agile methodologies
Requirements
  • Current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance
  • Subject Matter Expert with demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture
  • Experience managing Linux hosts, including RHEL and CENTOS
  • Experience with Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins
  • Experience deploying worldwide enterprise solutions
  • Experience installing, configuring, and managing Linux operating systems
  • Experience working with AWS-based solutions
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting network components
  • Experience implementing operating system enhancements
  • Experience prototyping enterprise-scale solutions
  • Experience with writing scripts in Bash and Python
  • Experience executing shell scripts
  • Experience deploying applications
  • Experience developing and supporting Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications
  • Experience with Nessus
  • Experience using Agile methodologies
  • Experience performing detailed analysis

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and technologies
  • Experience with Cloudwatch
  • Experience using the Atlassian Suite of tools
  • Experience with the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
  • Experience using the command line to interact with LDAP repositories
  • Experience with XML schemas
  • Experience with the Sponsor's systems lifecycle
