Job Overview

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will engage in comprehensive systems engineering activities, which include high-level system architecture design, defining performance metrics, and establishing interface requirements. You will also be responsible for developing installation, integration, and acceptance testing protocols.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver hands-on architectural and systems integration support for Cyber Range initiatives aimed at operator training and simulating customer environments.
  • Lead the design and construction of Microsoft architecture to effectively replicate customer-specific systems.
  • Collaborate closely with mission operators and developers to devise innovative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Execute a range of systems engineering tasks focused on technical problem resolution, requirements definition, process enhancement, risk assessment, and solution design to promote cybersecurity mission success.
  • Assist in identifying requirements and conceptualizing future iterations of primary analytical systems.
  • Evaluate new and existing products, technologies, and architectures to address design, development, and operational challenges.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • An Associate's degree with 11 years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED with 13 years of relevant experience may be acceptable for candidates with substantial related experience.
  • A degree in Professional Engineering, Physics, Astronomy, or a related technical field (e.g., chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology).
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Required Technical Skills
  • Systems Integration expertise.
  • Proficiency in Windows Architecture (Azure, 365, etc.).
  • Experience in Windows Systems Administration.
Preferred Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
