Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
Support IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, installs/loads operating systems software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of, and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree.
15 years' of related experience.
LINUX experience.
Kubernetes experience.
IAT Level I certification.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work, speaking, standing, talking, walking, working with computers, working with data, working with numbers and figures, ability to handle stress & work under pressure, ability to use MS Office and a PC, analytical or critical thinking skills, leadership and listening skills, multi-tasking, ability, negotiating skills, oral & written communication skills, presentation skills, project management ability and skills, computer operating skills, and team building skills.
